Use this to install an oxygen sensor on your OMC VOLVO PENTA engine. Aftermarket EFI (Electrionic Fuel Injection) systems need an oxygen sensor to run in closed loop for maximum performance and fuel economy. The O2 sensor needs to be installed in the exhaust stream to sample exhaust gases. The computer reads the oxygen sensor and readjusts the injector flow and ignition timing for maximum efficiency. The oxygen sensor plate can also be installed on a carbureted engine. With a wide band O2 sensor and dashboard gauge, air/fuel ratios can be read for precise carburetor jetting. The oxygen sensor plate easily installs between the stock Exhaust manifold and riser. The plate is threaded for a standard O2 sensor, which screws into the side of the plate (O2 sensor not included). The plate is 4 3/4" x 3 1/4" and the bolt holes are 3.90" x 2.60" Approximately Center to Center The plate is 1" thick and 2 GASKETS ARE INCLUDED
